Since its establishment in the year 1935 as the first and only submarine communications cable specialized manufacturer in Japan, OCC has been involved in building communication infrastructure while planning its advance into land communication cables and sensing cables business fields.
In particular, we have already supplied submarine cables for more than 400,000 km, a distance wide spreading more than 10 times around the globe, contributing to the expansion of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) that supports people's lives and economic activities.
