Philosophy of Quality
In order to create and provide trusted products and services that please our customers, all OCC employees spare no efforts to maintain and improve the quality and continue meeting your needs and expectation.
Long-term reliability under harsh environment has been required for submarine cables, ocean observation cables and land cables.
In order to achieve the requirements for the long-term reliability, OCC has established the quality management system in compliance with the international quality standard ISO9001 from design to production and shipping.
OCC strives to build up good relationships with our customers and the society by pursuing the supply of the products and services with higher customer satisfaction while the quality management system has been moving ahead from TQC to TQM.
Quality Policy
- Quality Policy in Submarine Cable Business“Provide optimal quality products faster and at competitive prices by driving continuous improvement activities.” To achieve the quality policy above, we developed the quality management system in compliance with ISO9001:2015, and then continuously improve effectiveness of the quality management system and obtain customers’ confidence by periodically monitoring and reviewing the quality management system to maintain its suitability.

- To supply the products that satisfies customers, we comply with regulations of national and local governments and customers’ requirements.
- To maintain the suitability of the quality management system, we regularly confirm and review the quality management system.
- To improve the quality and effectiveness of design, quality and work, we set quality goals and monitor progress against the goals in each section.
